You will lead hands‑on Azure cloud migrations, modernize legacy Mule Soft integration flows into Spring Boot microservices, and support our Red Hat Open Shift and enterprise messaging platforms (IBMMQ / RedHatAMQ). The role is highly technical, requiring deep knowledge of cloud engineering, application development, and hybrid‑network security in a regulated banking environment.
Core Responsibilities- Mule Soft to Spring Boot Migration – modernize and migrate existing enterprise Mule Soft integration flows to Spring Boot‑based microservices. Design, implement, and deploy solutions.
- Azure Cloud Migration – support end‑to‑end migration activities, including application and integration migration, secure workplace design, Dev Ops/platform engineering, and post‑migration stabilization.
- Hybrid Infrastructure Support – collaborate on Azure networking, firewall configurations, and connectivity designs to ensure secure integration between cloud assets and on‑premises systems.
- Container & Git Ops Automation – deploy and manage solutions on Azure Red Hat Open Shift using modern Git Ops practices and ArgoCD workflows.
- Enterprise Messaging & Middleware – provide senior‑level technical support, impact analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration for Red Hat Open Shift, RedHatAMQ, and IBMMQ platforms.
- Data & File Transfer – support and maintain IBMDataPower and Managed File Transfer services to ensure secure, high‑throughput financial data pipelines.
- Production Support & Performance Tuning – troubleshoot complex production environments, conduct root‑cause analysis, and tune database performance (SQL optimization).
- Testing Strategy – design and support comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end system testing.
- Documentation – create and maintain technical design artifacts, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Agile Collaboration – actively collaborate with Technical Leads, Product Owners, and Architects in a structured Agile/Scrum environment.
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of seven years of recent, hands‑on enterprise software development experience in senior technical or advanced engineering support roles.
- Proven experience navigating the security, compliance, and zero‑downtime constraints of financial or enterprise‑scale institutions.
- Demonstrated mastery of Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem, with a proven track record of architecting highly scalable microservices.
- Experience modernizing or migrating enterprise integration platforms (e.g., converting Mule Soft, TIBCO, or Web Sphere flows to custom microservices).
- Minimum of seven years of experience supporting Azure cloud migrations, including hands‑on deployment onto Azure Red Hat Open Shift or native Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on experience using ArgoCD and Git‑driven CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native deployments.
- Expert‑level configuration and support skills for IBMMQ and RedHatAMQ in high‑availability environments.
- Strong SQL skills with deep expertise in query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Strong practical knowledge of Azure networking, private endpoints, firewalls, and secure hybrid connectivity.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix platforms in mixed‑technology enterprise environments.
- Ability to leverage modern AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- Proven ability to organize workloads, balance competing priorities, and drive complex technical initiatives in a structured manner.
