Become a part of Thales’s Ottawa team as a Service Desk Technician L2, specializing in delivering exceptional user support. Troubleshoot technical issues effectively for both on-site and remote users.
This position is ideal for a skilled technician with a strong background in IT support, including 1 to 4+ years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will encompass first- and second-level support, problem analysis, and maintaining detailed logs using the ticketing system. Fluency in English and French is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as first and second-level support for technology issues
• Coordinate with IT teams to resolve problems
• Document support interactions thoroughly
• Escalate requests when appropriate
• Troubleshoot basic and advanced hardware/software challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience
• 1-2 years of experience in IT support
• Strong Windows troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Windows network admin
• Experience with Service Now ticketing
