Hybrid Scrum Master

Position: Hybrid Scrum Master Role
Lead Agile practices as a Scrum Master in a hybrid model at our Ottawa office. Manage ceremonies, coordinate with product owners, and ensure alignment across initiatives while utilizing JIRA.

This contract role offers 37.7 hours per week with a term starting July 27th, lasting 12 months, plus optional extension. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate daily scrums and sprint planning, while working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience in IT operations and a passion for Agile methodologies are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies like daily scrums and retrospectives

• Assign and track tasks using JIRA for optimal project alignment

• Support product owners with backlog prioritization and squad formation

• Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements

• Submit and track tickets for issue resolution in Service Now

Requirements:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM or CSP)

• 3+ years of experience leading Operational IT Scrum Teams

• 3+ years working in IT operations environments

• Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Service Now

• Certification as an Agile Leader or KMP preferred
