Senior VMware Infrastructure Consultant

Join our team as a Senior VMware Virtual Infrastructure Consultant, delivering cutting-edge solutions for enterprise virtualization and cloud infrastructure, mostly in a hybrid mode.

We are looking for an experienced VMware Virtual Infrastructure Specialist with a focus on VMware technologies and Azure IaaS to support our client’s initiatives. This hybrid role requires about 12 onsite days a month in Ottawa, making it ideal for local candidates. Moreover, you will handle after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation. The consultant will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency through automation and infrastructure modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage VMware Cloud Foundation and its ecosystems

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents

• Support disaster recovery through vSphere Replication

• Execute automation pipelines using Azure Dev Ops

• Maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in enterprise virtualization

• 3 years experience with Azure IaaS and Dev Ops

• Strong background in VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation

• Proficient in scripting (Power Shell, Python)

• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
