Advanced IT Security Specialist Position

Systematix is seeking an IT Security VA Specialist Level 3 to enhance cybersecurity for a public sector project. Bring your skills in monitoring and incident response to our dedicated team.

This position requires at least 10 years of experience in a Cyber Security or IT role, particularly in active threat detection and security alert management. As a Level 3 Specialist, you'll engage in continuous monitoring and collaborate effectively to strengthen security practices. Your focus on SOP maintenance and incident triage will be key to ensuring safety against emerging cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support creation and refinement of security alerts

• Monitor SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS for incidents

• Assess security alerts for authenticity and severity

• Track system vulnerabilities and remediation activities

• Prepare reports summarizing security events and metrics

Requirements:

• 10+ years in SOC or cybersecurity roles

• Relevant bachelor’s or certification in IT or Cyber Security

• In-depth experience with SIEM tools and security logs

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams

• Document standard operating procedures and incident reports
