Elevate your career as a Windows Support Engineer for a leading Public sector client. This 1-year contract role involves supporting and optimizing Windows server environments in both cloud and on-premise settings.
Our client, a prominent name in the Public sector, seeks a Windows Support Engineer for a contract with a strong potential for extension. You will provide level 2 technical support and manage the performance of critical applications. This role focuses on deploying, maintaining, and documenting Windows Server environments while improving quality and efficiency, so attention to detail is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support projects and maintain Windows server environments
• Provide level 2 technical support via ServiceNOW
• Create detailed SOP documentation for processes and changes
• Suggest improvements for performance and efficiency
• Engage in other related activities as needed
Requirements:
• University degree or diploma in IT or relevant field
• 3+ years experience in hybrid application support
• 2+ years with Windows Server systems and SCCM
• 2+ years in performance monitoring of critical servers
• Knowledge in IAC tools like Ansible or Terraform
Utilize your technical expertise to ensure optimal performance of Windows server environments.
