User Technology Support Specialist

In this permanent, full-time position, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and configuring software and end-user devices. Key skills include excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service capabilities. You will also work under pressure, effectively de-escalating tense situations and documenting issues to support resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Decommission and handle designated end user technology
• Configure automation on users' devices
• Troubleshoot and document end-user support issues
• Provide user guidance and recommend training tools
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of emerging technologies
Requirements:
• Community College diploma in computer science or equivalent
• Three years of related experience, ideally one in similar assignments
• Advanced English and French communication skills
• Ability to pass background checks
• Strong familiarity with security practices for end-user data
Utilize your troubleshooting and technology knowledge to support users effectively at CBC/Radio-Canada in Ottawa.
