Test Automation Co‑Op/Intern

Location:
Hybrid in Ottawa
Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Engineering/Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
How You Will Contribute and What You Will Learn- Development of scripts or applications (XML, REST, JavaScript, Perl) to simulate various management activities and network scenarios.
- Development and execution of test plans to validate functional aspects of the product.
- Investigation of product defects encountered during test scenarios.
- Execution of tests and maintenance of regression and performance test beds, including publishing results and developing additional functionality.
- Strong programming (Java, Perl, XML, JS) and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
- Knowledge of software and/or testing methodologies.
- Experience using development tools like Git, IDEs, Jira, and Teams.
- Networking and telecommunications knowledge.
- Linux operating environment, Windows, Virtual Machines.
