About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Digital Transformation Advisor to support a major enterprise digital transformation and integration initiative within a large Government of Canada environment. The successful candidate will provide strategic advisory services, executive decision‑support, enterprise integration oversight, stakeholder engagement, governance support, and risk management across multiple digital domains. This is a senior advisory role requiring extensive Government of Canada digital transformation experience, strong executive‑level communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide enterprise‑level digital transformation advisory services.
- Support large‑scale IM/IT modernization and integration initiatives.
- Prepare executive briefings, governance materials, and decision‑support documents.
- Advise senior leadership on risks, dependencies, readiness, and strategic considerations.
- Consolidate information from multiple organizations and work streams.
- Monitor transition activities and identify enterprise‑level impacts.
- Support governance forums involving Directors General, Assistant Deputy Ministers, and equivalent executives.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and alignment activities.
- Develop integrated status reports and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to organizational readiness and transformation planning.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following:
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years supporting enterprise‑level digital transformation or large‑scale IM/IT initiatives within the Government of Canada.
- Experience spanning all three enterprise domains:
- Networks and Infrastructure
- Applications and Enterprise Systems
- Identity and Access Management
- Experience working across multiple federal organizations or Crown corporations.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years providing strategic advice and executive decision support.
- Experience supporting senior executives at the Director General (DG), Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM), or equivalent level.
- Experience supporting large‑scale multi‑organizational initiatives involving complex dependencies and mission‑critical services.
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from a recognized post‑secondary institution.
- Advanced bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- More than ten (10) years of Government of Canada digital transformation experience.
- Experience supporting machinery‑of‑government transitions or multi‑department integrations.
- Experience developing DG/ADM‑level briefing materials and governance packages.
- Knowledge of Treasury Board digital policies and Government of Canada IM/IT frameworks.
- Certifications in Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Program Management, Business Transformation, Change Management, or related disciplines.
Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance.
