Join our team as a full-time Unix/Linux Administrator in Ottawa, starting August 10, 2026. This hybrid position entails supporting Solaris and Red Hat environments with a focus on automation and scripting.
We are looking for an experienced administrator for a one-year contract that requires 12 days on-site each month. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Solaris 11, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and tools like Ansible and Red Hat Satellite. This role also encompasses responsibilities in system maintenance, patching, installation, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Solaris 11 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments
• Perform system administration and maintenance tasks
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Implement automation using Ansible playbooks
• Provide hardware support and troubleshooting
Requirements:
• Must have Secret security clearance
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform
• Knowledge of UNIX system administration
• Familiarity with scripting and Dev Ops practices
• RHCE or related certifications are a plus
