Harness your skills in data validation as a Data Engineer Tester for a leading Ottawa client on a 14-month hybrid contract. Focus on complex testing using Azure technologies.
This role is vital for a data modernization initiative, requiring both data engineering and QA/testing expertise. You will write SQL test scripts while leading testing protocols and managing ETL activities. Coordinating with stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing, you will also ensure compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute complex SQL test scripts on Azure Databricks
• Manage ETL/Data testing processes effectively
• Document test results and evidence in Azure Dev Ops
• Ensure adherence to testing standards
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant engineering or computer field
• 5+ years in writing test cases and scripts
• 5+ years in diverse software testing methodologies
• At least 2 years with Microsoft Azure data services
• Must qualify for Government of Canada Clearance
