This role is a hybrid work arrangement. Work schedule to be discussed with the Hiring Manager according to the guidelines defined by the department. Office attendance is mandatory.
Your RoleJoin the People & Culture team on an exciting journey to transform the way we leverage Workday to empower and enable our employees and managers. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of People Analytics within the People & Culture team, the Workday Reporting Specialist will unlock Workday’s reporting & analytical capabilities across the organization. You will partner with leaders across HR and the business to democratize the use of data & enable a data‑driven culture through thought leadership and consultation.
You will collaborate closely with the process team and business process owners to understand various HR programs, their requirements and provide data‑driven insights and recommendations. This position can be located in Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto and travel may be required.
- Serve as a Workday report, dashboard & discovery board subject matter expert.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders throughout the organization to define their business requirements for reports, then build, test and deploy.
- Develop, test and deploy Workday reports for key Workday modules (HCM & Compensation).
- Identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and streamline reports.
- Troubleshoot performance, security and data quality issues.
- Prior experience in Human Resources is required, with a strong emphasis on HR reporting and analytics.
- Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields and Discovery Boards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Innovative thinking, clear analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to explain technological concepts and issues in a manner that business partners understand.
- Bilingual:
