Join a energetic team as a Windows Support Engineer in Ottawa, ON, providing essential support for our server workplace.
This full-time role involves collaboration and advanced technical skills every week. In this hybrid position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of Windows server systems, working both on-premise and in the cloud. You'll provide level 2 technical support through ServiceNOW while closely collaborating with project teams.
The role demands creating detailed documentation and recommending efficiency improvements for the Bank’s environments.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, maintain, and upgrade Windows server environments
- Provide level 2 technical support via ticketing systems
- Document processes, changes, and root causes thoroughly
- Recommend enhancements for performance and quality
- Support related tasks and deliverables as needed
- Degree or diploma in IT or related field
- 3+ years supporting critical applications in hybrid environments
- 2+ years experience with Windows Server systems
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools
- Understanding of scripting languages like Power Shell
