AFN is on the lookout for a full-time Event and Technology Support Specialist to enhance its events in Ottawa. This role demands expertise in managing technology, providing audio/visual support, and coordinating logistics. You will work closely with stakeholders, oversee necessary tech functions, and curate content for SharePoint sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support audio/visual setup and troubleshooting for events
• Collaborate to define accurate technology requirements
• Maintain and create engaging content for Share Point
• Develop technical documentation and user guides
• Collect data for thorough technology usage reporting
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in IT or related field
• Minimum of 2 years in event technology support
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Zoom, and audio/visual systems
• Experience with budget tracking and reporting
• Valid driver's license for travel
