AFN is seeking an Event and Technology Support Specialist for a full time role in Ottawa. This position emphasizes technology management, audio/visual support, and logistical coordination. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage tech needs, and maintain content on SharePoint sites.
Key Responsibilities- Support audio/visual setup and troubleshooting during events
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology requirements
- Maintain and create engaging content for SharePoint sites
- Develop technical documentation and user guides for technology
- Collect data on technology usage for comprehensive reporting
- Degree or diploma in IT or related field
- Minimum of 2 years event technology support experience
- Familiar with SharePoint, Zoom, and audio/visual systems
- Experience in budget tracking and financial reporting
- Valid driver's license required for travel
