The Business Data Lab at the Canadian Chamber is seeking an early-career Data Scientist. This role focuses on analytics and research, supporting the development of economic dashboards and data products. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to analyze data and facilitate evidence-based decision-making for businesses and policymakers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain public-facing data dashboards
• Build data pipelines for research and forecasting
• Apply advanced analytics to identify business trends
• Support commissioned research and client engagement
• Test AI tools to enhance research and analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in data science or analytics
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies
