Program Director for Quantum Technologies

Lead the Quantum Safe Technologies and Applied Quantum Computing programs at NRC in Ottawa, Fredericton, Montreal, or Waterloo. Manage strategies and foster partnerships in quantum cybersecurity and computing.

The NRC is seeking a Program Director to spearhead its Quantum Safe Technologies and Applied Quantum Computing Challenge Programs. This full-time role requires in-depth knowledge in cryptography, cybersecurity, and program management. You will oversee initiatives, manage partnerships, and communicate program impacts to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage QST and AQC Challenge Programs effectively

• Collaborate with NRC’s National Program Office for funding

• Guide multidisciplinary teams for program execution

• Engage with stakeholders to develop business partnerships

• Oversee budgets and resources aligned with goals

Requirements:

• PhD in computer science, engineering, or related field

• 3+ years in program management experience

• Expertise in cybersecurity or quantum computing

• Significant communication skills for executive presentations

• Secret clearance required for employment
