CIHI seeks a Junior IT Support Technician to provide essential technical support in either Toronto or Ottawa. You will handle service requests and incidents related to end-user hardware and software. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills and technical acumen, focusing on customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to service requests for hardware and software support
• Perform maintenance and installation of laptop components
• Manage desktop and laptop lifecycle, including imaging and recovery
• Recommend solutions for technical issues of medium complexity
• Document standard procedures and create technical knowledge bases
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1 year of desktop support or technical service experience
• Experience with Windows hardware and software
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Office
365
• ITIL certification is an asset
