Position: Security Engineering Role at Cardless
Join Cardless as a Product Security Lead and take charge of platform security for major brands. This role based in San Francisco emphasizes secure development and robust API protection.

As a critical team member, you'll ensure compliance and lead incident responses, translating complex security frameworks into actionable engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Own the security model for APIs, ensuring strong authentication

• Formulate a comprehensive strategy for securing user actions

• Construct fraud detection tools and mechanisms

• Collaborate with Engineering on architecture and threat models

• Enhance security across infrastructure and applications

Requirements:

• Strong coding experience in Java, Python, or equivalent

• Proven track record in secure platform API design

• Familiarity with AWS security practices

• Experience in authentication systems for consumer platforms

• Strong focus on written communication
