MDA Space Systems Administrator Position

This role requires you to deliver effective system administration and technical support across MDA SPACE’s Ottawa offices. You will work with both on-site and remote technologies, focusing on Linux and Windows environments, network devices, and end-user hardware. Interaction with customers and service providers is critical to diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintaining service level commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support desktop and IT infrastructure systems for end-users

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively

• Administer Linux servers, storage arrays, and networks

• Oversee management of telephone systems and data backups

• Perform asset management and support during customer training

Requirements:

• Technology degree with 3+ years of experience

• Deep knowledge of operating systems and networking

• Required travel for customer engagement and technology support

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to obtain higher security clearances if needed
