The University of Ottawa is hiring ten Technical Support Teaching Assistants for the School of Nursing. Ideal candidates will possess a master’s degree or be enrolled in a graduate nursing program. Responsibilities include providing technical support and ensuring effective bimodal course delivery. Please note that grading tasks are not part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in technical support for nursing courses
• Prepare bimodal course materials as required
• Facilitate effective course delivery with tech knowledge
• Maintain communication with students regarding tech issues
• Ensure access to necessary technical tools
Requirements:
• Completed master's degree or currently enrolled in graduate nursing program
• Preference for candidates with nursing background
• Fluent in English for effective communication
• Reside in Ottawa for on-site work
• Access to computer, internet, microphone, and webcam
This role is vital for enhancing students' learning experiences in nursing through effective technical support.
