This full-time contract position involves shaping the future of our client's multi-site classified network. As a senior architect with at least 15 years of experience, you will design complex network solutions and improve existing infrastructures. Engage with senior stakeholders and advise them on the latest technology opportunities while focusing on essential system documentation to achieve flawless integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct options analyses and recommend architecture adjustments
• Evaluate current infrastructure and suggest enhancements
• Design and deploy solutions involving DWDM, MPLS, and SRv6
• Maintain network architecture documentation for various technologies
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot design issues
Requirements:
• Minimum 15 years as a technical/network architect
• 10+ years in DWDM hardware design and implementation
• 10+ years in implementing fibre optic networks
• 2+ years working on classified networks
• Must have Canadian or U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance
