We are looking for an Epic Care Ambulatory Analyst for a 1 year contract with high possibility of extension.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic Care Ambulatory Analyst to join Project AMP
, an enterprise initiative focused on modernizing appointment scheduling through standardized workflows and enhanced use of Epic and MyChart. This transformation will improve equitable access to care, streamline scheduling processes, and create a more consistent experience for patients, providers, and staff.

The successful candidate will support the implementation, optimization, configuration, testing, and stabilization of Epic Care Ambulatory applications. Working closely with clinical, operational, technical, and project teams, you will design and optimize ambulatory workflows while ensuring seamless integration with Epic Cadence scheduling functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, build, and maintain Epic Care Ambulatory application functionality to support clinical and operational workflows.
  • Design and optimize provider documentation, clinical workflows, orders, and ambulatory workflows.
  • Configure and support integrations between Epic Care Ambulatory and Epic Cadence scheduling.
  • Analyze current-state workflows and recommend improvements that enhance provider efficiency and patient care.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, operational leaders, technical teams, and project stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective Epic solutions.
  • Support system configuration, integrated testing, defect resolution, implementation, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
  • Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, testing scripts, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in change management, knowledge transfer, and end-user support activities.
  • Ensure application build follows Epic best practices and aligns with organizational standards and project objectives.
