Position: ANVIL Intermediate AppSec Engineer Position
Become an Intermediate Application Security Engineer at ANVIL and take charge of enhancing software security protocols in a full-time remote capacity. Support vulnerability management and secure operations in critical environments.

ANVIL is looking for someone to actively engage in its growing application security program.

This role offers diverse responsibilities from operating App Sec tools to ensuring effective vulnerability remediation and threat modeling. Ideal for early-career professionals, this position emphasizes hands-on security operations and mentorship from senior leaders in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ANVIL's suite of App Sec tools, enhancing detection and remediation processes

• Triage and prioritize vulnerabilities for the development team

• Participate actively in threat modeling activities and documentation

• Promote secure coding practices and enforce security review gates

• Assist in incident response and forensic analysis tasks

Requirements:

• Eligible for Government of Canada Secret or Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related area

• 2-4 years in application security or related experience

• Hands-on knowledge of security tools and best practices

• Proficient in both Linux and Windows security environments
