Senior IT Security Design Specialist to assist with the modernization of an Electronic Health Record system in the public sector
Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Senior IT Security Design Specialist to provide security expertise on a Software as a Services (SaaS), commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) system that will offer modern operational and clinical decision-support tools, secure access to health information, advanced analytics, and a patient-centered experience.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and/or apply Secure IT architectures, standards, communications, and security protocols such as IPSec, SSL, SSH, S-MIME, HTTPS;
- Review, analyze, and/or apply IT Security protocols at all layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) stacks;
- Review, analyze, and/or apply the significance and implications of market and technology trends in order to apply them within architecture roadmaps and solution designs. (examples: web services security, incident management, identity management);
- Review, analyze, and/or apply best practices and standards related to the concept of network zoning and defence in-depth principles;
- Review, analyze, and/or apply IT Security protocols at all layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) stacks
Must have:
- 10 years experience as an IT Security Design Specialist
- Education (Degree and/or Diploma and/or CISSP and/or TOGAF and/or CISM and/or CSSP
) - 3 projects in cloud
, hybrid or zero-trust architecture environments
