Intermediate Manual Software Tester; hybrid

6 month hybrid contract (1 day a week in Ottawa client office)

Reliability Status clearance required (or be eligible to obtain one)

• Compile and debug applications and programs
• Perform manual software testing
• Compile information for and write portions of technical reports and program documentation
• Develop and document manual software testing plans
• Execute and document results of manual software application tests and information and systems tests
• Create testing plans in collaboration with project teams
• Develop documentation of test procedures
• Create and prioritize bug reports with clear reproduction steps
• Use a suite of testing tools to ensure the accessibility and responsiveness of websites and applications
• Facilitate the UAT process and issue triage
• Work closely with other software testers, designers and developers

• Post-secondary education in a computer science related program (Diploma or BSc preferred)
