Advance your career as a VMware Virtual Infrastructure Specialist in Ottawa, working in a hybrid model. Engage directly with VMware Cloud Foundation and Azure IaaS services.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the administration and support of VMware Cloud Foundation components, ensuring disaster recovery and high availability. You will also focus on automating and streamlining operations using infrastructure as code and monitoring tools. Your expertise will directly impact system performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and manage VMware Cloud Foundation and related technologies
• Implement and test disaster recovery solutions
• Maintain Azure IaaS platforms and services
• Develop and support automation with Ansible and Azure Dev Ops
• Monitor system health and validate changes during incidents
Requirements:
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or IT
• Five years' experience in VMware administration
• Three years working with Azure IaaS and automation
• Strong scripting skills in Power Shell or Python
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code methodologies
