Myticas Consulting is seeking an experienced Service Now Enterprise Architect for a long-term contract supporting a federal government transformation initiative in Ottawa.
The successful candidate will lead the architecture, governance and implementation of Service Now CMDB and Security Operations capabilities.
Location:
Ottawa, Ontario
Work arrangement:
Five days per week onsite
Duration:
Two-year contract with possible extension
Security:
Active Government of Canada Secret clearance is mandatory
Expected start:
September 2026
- Assess infrastructure, asset repositories and existing data sources.
- Define CMDB architecture, governance frameworks and technical standards.
- Design CI class hierarchies and align the environment with CSDM.
- Establish Identification and Reconciliation Engine rules and data-certification processes.
- Architect Service Now Discovery, MID Server and credential-management solutions.
- Lead Service Mapping and define relationships between business services and underlying infrastructure.
- Design CMDB health dashboards measuring completeness, correctness, compliance and data quality.
- Validate CMDB readiness for Service Now Security Operations.
- Architect Vulnerability Response and Security Incident Response capabilities.
- Design integrations with vulnerability scanners, SIEM platforms and other cybersecurity tools.
- Define workflows, routing rules, assignment groups and SLA frameworks.
- Maintain alignment with Service Now best practices and out-of-the-box functionality.
- Approximately eight or more years of Service Now architecture and technical leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Advanced knowledge of IRE, CI relationships and CMDB governance.
- Experience architecting Service Now Security Operations solutions.
- Experience integrating Service Now with security, infrastructure and enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integration architecture, cloud environments and cybersecurity operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Active Government of Canada Secret clearance.
- Ability to work onsite in Ottawa five days per week.

- CIS Vulnerability Response or Security Incident Response
Certifications are preferred but are not mandatory for candidates with strong, directly relevant implementation experience. ,
