Executive Consultant in Information Governance

Shape information security governance as a Senior Executive Information Security Governance and Policy Consultant from Ottawa with hybrid/remote flexibility. This role focuses on developing frameworks for sensitive information protection.

You will leverage your profound understanding of information governance, cybersecurity, and risk management, specifically within the Canadian government context. Responsibilities include assessing information management practices, guiding the classification of sensitive data, and shaping policies that ensure the safe handling of Protected A and B information.

Your role will be instrumental in forming an effective information protection strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate existing governance and information security practices

• Research best practices and compliance requirements

• Identify opportunities for enhancements in information protection

• Establish requirements for secure information sharing

Requirements:

• Proven executive consulting experience in cybersecurity

• Expertise in Government of Canada security standards

• Experience with classified information protection
