In this role, you will join Akamai’s SRE team with over 8 years of experience. You’ll lead efforts in data analysis and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Your responsibilities will include driving cross-team collaborations and building tools that automate essential workflows to boost efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical mentorship and project management in SRE
• Partner with Engineering and Operations for feature adoption
• Analyze and propose solutions for performance bottlenecks
• Create actionable insights from internal and 3rd-party data
• Develop software systems to streamline analytical processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of site reliability experience
• Coding expertise in Python, SQL, Perl, or similar
• Proven experience with Internet protocols: DNS, HTTP, TCP
• Strong communication and feedback skills
