You will join the Data and Digital Services (DDS) Department and report to the Assistant Director, Data Science. As a hands‑on AI expert who thrives in a collaborative, experimentation‑driven environment, you will design, build, and deliver end‑to‑end AI and data science solutions that support AI‑focused projects and services across the Bank of Canada. Your work will enable economists and policy teams to access high‑quality data, deploy trusted and well‑governed models, strengthen analytical tools and processes, and translate insights into real policy impact.

In this role, you directly support the Bank’s core mandate to maintain low and stable inflation and ensure a resilient, efficient financial system.

You will design and deliver end‑to‑end AI and machine learning (ML) solutions within the Bank of Canada's technology ecosystem. Working closely with business partners and multidisciplinary teams, you will develop a deep understanding of business needs and transform them into scalable, secure, and responsible AI capabilities that create measurable value.
