About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security and Digital Risk Officer to lead the evolution of cybersecurity and digital risk management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and implement the cybersecurity strategy, with a focus on practical action and the integration of security into enterprise-wide decision-making. This role is pivotal in safeguarding critical infrastructure, resident data, and essential public services, ensuring that security practices align with the company's needs and long-term goals.
Applicants must have a senior-level background in leading cybersecurity or digital risk programs, preferably within large, complex environments. The role requires exceptional communication skills to translate security concerns into actionable insights for senior executives, as well as a proven track record in developing security strategies, governance frameworks, and incident response readiness. The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic leader, capable of conducting thorough risk assessments and applying security standards effectively across diverse service environments.
Crisis management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams during critical incidents are essential. The Chief Information Security and Digital Risk Officer will also be responsible for preparing the company to respond to and recover from major cyber incidents, working closely with departmental leaders to test and address gaps in continuity and recovery plans.
