Rack and stack servers while supporting network cabling, switch installation, and lab operations for a multinational networking equipment company.
This Data Center Technician supports operation and maintenance of the Lab, or Data Center. The work includes infrastructure components, basic device configuration, chassis troubleshooting, and equipment handling. You will maintain assets, process inventory updates, and perform hardware support services.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain the Lab Data Center
- Run network cables and install rack-mounted servers
- Configure switches, PDUs, and other devices under direction
- Triage and troubleshoot chassis issues
- Install PCIe cards and replace server hardware components
- High School diploma or degree course
- Ability to lift rack-mounted servers up to 50 pounds
- Experience patching cables
- Experience installing switches, preferably Cisco
- Excellent attendance and work ethic
