Onsite IT Systems Support Specialist

Support Windows systems and infrastructure onsite in Ottawa as an IT Systems Support Specialist handling users, networks, hardware, and operational technology.

This junior to intermediate position provides hands-on technical support across corporate and specialized operational environments. You will troubleshoot Windows, Active Directory, enterprise applications, LAN/WAN connectivity, servers, peripherals, and security-related systems. The six-month contract may extend.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, software, and peripherals
• Provide responsive onsite and remote support to internal users
• Troubleshoot Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, VPN, and storage systems
• Diagnose routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and network equipment
• Respond to tickets and document technical resolutions and operational logs

• Diploma or degree in computer technology, science, information technology, or related discipline
• Approximately three or more years of related IT experience accepted
• Hands-on IT support, infrastructure, and technical troubleshooting experience
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows, and LAN/WAN networking
• Valid Ontario Class G licence or Quebec equivalent, plus recent abstract
