insurance brokerage client to find a first-class
Commercial Lines Broker to join their team in
Ottawa, Ontario (hybrid / remote / in-office). The primary responsibility of this role will be to build, grow, and retain a profitable commercial insurance book of business while providing tailored risk and coverage solutions to business clients.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:Prospect, generate, and close new commercial insurance businessBuild and manage your own book of business with a strong focus on retention and renewalsRecommend customized coverage solutions based on each client’s risk profileDeliver a seamless, professional client experience from quote to bindingIdentify cross-sell opportunities across the brokerage’s full product portfolioYou should have the following in your background to apply:Valid RIBO license with 3–5 years of commercial lines insurance sales experienceProven ability to prospect, close, and retain commercial clientsStrong knowledge of commercial products (auto, CGL, E&O, D&O, surety, etc.)Entrepreneurial mindset with strong networking and lead generation skillsTech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and modern digital toolsWhat’s in it for you:Commission-only compensation with uncapped earning potentialCompetitive new business and renewal commission structureOwnership of your book of business with long-term residual incomeDedicated service team support so you can focus on selling and advisingFlexible work arrangements and the backing of a recognized national brand
