Mandarin Chinese Language Teacher - Ottawa

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Founded in 2004, the company’s motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere.

We are looking for a freelance Mandarin Chinese language teacher to provide one‑to‑one general Mandarin Chinese classes to a student in Ottawa. The student will attend 30 hours of classes, with two 2‑hour sessions per week:
Thursday 6‑8pm and Saturday 12‑2pm. The position is part‑time and the hourly rate is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

• Deliver one‑to‑one general Mandarin Chinese classes to a student in Ottawa at the student’s office or home.
• Conduct 2‑hour sessions twice per week (Thursday 6‑8pm, Saturday 12‑2pm).
• Start as soon as possible and maintain flexible schedule based on availability.

• Be a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese OR hold a teaching degree.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid working visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Ottawa.
