Corporate Partner or Associate – Life After Law
Life After Law is Canada’s national recruitment firm dedicated to placing lawyers in private practice, corporate counsel, quasi-legal, and executive roles.
We are seeking a Corporate Partner or Associate, based in Ottawa, to join a leading law firm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of corporate transactional expertise, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and reorganizations.
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Be a member in good standing of the Ontario Bar.
- Have at least 5 years of corporate transactional experience.
- Demonstrate strong technical, analytical, and business acumen.
- Exhibit solid client development and communication skills.
- Produce high‑quality work products consistently.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team‑oriented mindset.
- Drive new business and support firm growth.
