Position: Experienced Buyer - Defense Sector
Become an Experienced Buyer specializing in the defense sector at a premier manufacturing facility.

Your role will enhance supplier relationships and optimize procurement processes.

This position requires extensive experience with defense electronic products and procurement methodologies. You will work closely with internal departments and with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials are delivered efficiently. Your expertise in MRP requirements and supplier performance management will greatly impact the organization’s supply chain results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee purchasing and management of defense commodities

• Implement supplier performance tracking on scorecards

• Engage in collaborative supplier discussions and updates

• Manage order reports and expedite supplier priorities

• Support Procurement with documentation and reporting needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred

• 5 years minimum related experience

• Knowledge of electronics and manufacturing processes

• Proficient in SAP systems preferred

• Strong analytical and effective communication skills
