Position: Buyer Role for Electronic Defense Products
Explore an exciting Buyer position in Defense Electronics at our Ottawa location. This role focuses on supplier relationships and is crucial for our manufacturing and design processes.

As a Buyer, you will play a vital role in our supply chain, utilizing your knowledge of defense procurement and electronic products. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure procurement needs are met effectively. Participate in supplier negotiations, manage quality issues, and oversee material flow to optimize inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee purchasing and supplier management for defense commodities

• Enhance supplier performance through rigorous evaluations

• Update ERP delivery commitments and expedite orders

• Synchronize with internal departments for timely updates

• Monitor supplier performance trends and elevate concerns

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Admin, Supply Chain, or Finance

• 5 years related procurement experience required

• Knowledge of PCB and PWB processes preferred

• Experience working with SAP systems

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
