Position: Buyer for Defense Electronics Supply Chain
Join Curtiss-Wright as a Buyer specializing in Defense Electronics, located in Ottawa, Ontario. This onsite position focuses on optimizing procurement and improving supplier relationships.

As a Buyer within the Supply Chain team, you will utilize your knowledge of defense electronic products and procurement processes. You'll manage commodities, drive supplier performance, and coordinate MRP requirements to enhance operational efficiency. Your strong communication and analytical skills will be vital in collaborating with internal teams and maintaining effective supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing and commodities for the supply chain

• Improve supplier quality through performance scorecards

• Conduct supplier calls and manage ERP updates

• Report on procurement topics and supply chain challenges

• Coordinate with internal departments for timely communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance preferred

• At least 5 years of related buyer experience

• Knowledge of electronics and AS9100 standards

• Experience using SAP preferred

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
