Experienced Project Buyer

Position: Experienced Project Buyer at Aversan Inc.
Join Aversan Inc. as an experienced Project Buyer managing procurement in a hybrid role based in Ottawa. This position focuses on sourcing, negotiation, and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
You will be responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and optimizing supplier performance. Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with project objectives, enhancing Aversan's capabilities in aerospace, defense, and space projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead RFx processes and local supplier negotiations

• Generate purchasing reports to guide team strategy

• Fulfill orders from PR through to invoice handling

• Communicate with suppliers to confirm deliveries

• Resolve procurement issues and consider escalation when necessary
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years in a procurement role

• Minimum 3 years in supply chain management

• Previous federal procurement experience

• Eligibility for Canadian NATO Secret clearance
