Supply Chain Contract Specialist at Telesat

Drive effective supply chain management as a Supply Chain Contract Specialist with Telesat in Ottawa. Focus on contract management for complex, technology-based goods and services.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Procurement, this role requires a strong background in contract management and supply chain. You will coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, supporting Telesat Lightspeed and other company objectives. Your expertise will be vital in managing risks and implementing procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand corporate policies to mitigate supply chain risks

• Procure specialized goods and services effectively

• Manage contractual functions for assigned vendors

• Conduct supply chain risk assessments and due diligence

• Collaborate with Legal on contract templates and agreements
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Engineering

• 3-5 years in supply chain or procurement

• Experience in contract process development and negotiation

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
