Telesat Supply Chain Contract Manager

This position reports to the Senior Director of Global Procurement, focusing on managing complex contracts for cutting-edge technology goods and services. You will assess supplier performance, mitigate risks, and collaborate with the Legal department to draft essential contracts. Your experience will directly support Telesat’s innovative projects like Telesat Lightspeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain understanding of purchasing processes and policies

• Implement compliant acquisition practices for program success

• Organize and monitor supplier contracts through project completion

• Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies

• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or college degree in Supply Chain Management

• 3-5 years of supply chain or procurement experience

• Contract drafting and negotiation expertise

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and results-focused mindset
