Position: Senior Buyer for Marine Repair

As a Senior Buyer, you will manage procurement processes essential for the Marine Repair sector. This role requires collaboration with various teams, strategic planning, and executing improvement initiatives, all while adhering to industry-specific compliance standards. With your experience, you will directly contribute to enhancing the operational readiness of Canada’s critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement for repair and overhaul initiatives

• Develop processes supporting strategic plan implementation

• Ensure compliance with procurement and quality assurance

• Manage supplier performance and relationships

• Promote process improvements and safety practices

Requirements:

• 5 years in procurement, ideally within Defence or Marine

• Proven experience in people leadership

• Advanced data analysis skills, particularly with ERP systems

• Commitment to compliance and quality assurance standards

• Eligible for Canadian security and ITAR clearance
