Position: Category Lead Role at Ciena

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute category strategies for indirect spend

• Conduct supplier assessments and market analysis

• Manage the entire sourcing process from RFI to selection

• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance

• Present category performance reports to senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management or a related field

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, 3 years in management

• Proven track record of delivering cost savings

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills

• Proficient with procurement tools and Microsoft Excel/PPT
