Operations Manager: Logistics and Supply Chain

Join Commissionaires Ottawa as a Quartermaster, responsible for overseeing logistics and supply operations. Based in Ottawa, this role ensures the effective management of uniforms and equipment.

You will facilitate the procurement, inventory control, and distribution processes for approximately 3,600 operational personnel. The ideal candidate possesses solid logistics oversight experience, particularly from military or comparable settings. Hands-on leadership and effective communication will be key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise lifecycle management of uniforms and supplies

• Implement controls for accurate inventory tracking

• Analyze and forecast inventory based on operational needs

• Coordinate vendor relations and purchasing processes

• Guide staff and support operational objectives

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education in logistics or similar

• Significant experience in inventory and supply management

• Proven track record in staff supervision

• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities

• Must be eligible for Government of Canada Secret clearance
