Ciena is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain Planning, reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer. You will be pivotal in translating demand signals and product roadmaps into a cohesive supply plan. Your focus will be on evolving the supply chain operating model while partnering with departments to enhance planning capabilities and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process monthly

• Lead global demand planning for diverse product channels

• Develop supply network and capacity planning strategies

• Establish inventory strategy to optimize working capital

• Drive improvements in excess and obsolete inventory management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

• 15+ years in supply chain, 5+ in leadership

• Strong expertise in demand/supply planning processes

• Proven success with outsourced supply chains

• Experience with data-driven decision making
