Coordinator, Logistics International Airport

Join Porter Airlines as a Coordinator for Logistics based in Ottawa, where you'll oversee critical aircraft parts shipments. Focus on optimizing delivery processes while ensuring high service standards.

This role reports to the Manager of Demand Planning and Logistics Optimization, responsible for coordinating all shipment activities, especially regarding AOG and routine deliveries. You'll negotiate shipping rates, monitor vendor performance, and ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily logistics management of shipments

• Ensure efficient handling of AOG and domestic shipments

• Negotiate rates and manage relationships with carriers

• Develop processes for freight shipment efficiency

• Review vendor invoices for conformity

Requirements:

• 2-5 years' experience in a logistics role

• Experience in aviation logistics is an asset

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

• Must obtain a Transport Canada restricted area pass
