Strategic Buyer at Med-Eng

Join Med-Eng as a Strategic Buyer, where you will manage purchasing and supplier negotiations to optimize inventory and material flow. Your expertise will ensure timely acquisition of materials while complying with policies.

In this role, reporting to the Strategic Supply Chain Manager, you'll utilize your five years of buying experience to evaluate procurement methods and vendor specifications. You'll be at the forefront of securing supplies vital to our operations, monitoring contract outcomes, and addressing supply challenges proactively. Your strong organizational skills will play a key role in managing purchase orders and procurement processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate purchase requisitions and specifications

• Secure and compare supply information from vendors

• Issue purchase orders and manage revisions as needed

• Monitor delivery and expedite orders efficiently

• Explain procurement policies to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in business or material management

• 5+ years of buying experience

• Knowledge of ITAR regulations and purchasing practices

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
