Ciena, the leader in high-speed connectivity, seeks an experienced Global Commodity Manager focused on InP technologies. In this role, you will develop commodity strategies, manage supplier engagements, and ensure quality and delivery standards across a global foundry ecosystem. Your efforts will directly influence product roadmaps and innovation while optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies for InP wafer fabrication technologies
• Lead commercial engagements with InP foundry partners
• Establish supplier governance and performance frameworks
• Drive accountability for supplier quality and commitments
• Manage sourcing decisions and contract negotiations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years in semiconductor sourcing or commodity management
• Experience with Indium Phosphide and strategic supplier relationships
• Proven negotiation skills in commercial agreements
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes
